Honestly, the Squeezebox Radio has to be the worst product I've ever bought. The squeezebox can connect to the server on the same Mac broadcasting the stream. The squeezebox however, which is plugged into the ethernet to rule out a wireless problem (even though I know the wireless is fine because the iPhone is happily tuned in) gives me that dreaded connection timed out error. To clarify - Nicecast is broadcasting away and this is something I am sure about because my iPhone is tuned into the stream. ![]() I don't know if this method has been discussed, but I thought I'd share it anyway. You can also avoid having to restart Spotify when starting the broadcast by installing "Instant Hijack" from the "Nicecast" menu -> "Install Extras.".You can add info you'll see on the Controller under "Info" in Nicecast.You need to do this method for each computer running Squeezebox Centre you wish to play Spotify from.
